To download IBM-hosted AIX VMs and import them into Skytapĭownload “ready-to-deploy” images from your IBM Entitled Systems Support (ESS) account, and import them into Skytap. For a complete list of supported operating systems in Skytap, see Which VM operating systems does Skytap support?. Power VMs also support some Linux distributions, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Enterprise Server, and Ubuntu. Skytap provides several Power VM public templates. IBM iĬurrently, Skytap supports the following versions of IBM i:Ĭurrently, the following are the minimum versions of AIX that Skytap supports: Skytap Power VMs don’t support Power 6, Power 6+, or Power 7 processor compatibility modes.
